Pool Title: Adjunct - Anatomy & Physiology
What is a Pool?

A pool is a way for Stark State College to collect applications for a category of positions (like Instructor) without having a specific requisition open. Applying to this pool does not mean that you are being considered for any open requisitions but that your application will be reviewed upon completion for possible consideration in any currently open requisitions or any future open requisitions.

Position Summary:

Prepare and deliver day, evening, and weekend course in anatomy & physiology and related courses; pursue professional development; participate in college activities that support the mission of the college. Additional responsibilities include assessing student performance, including electronic submission of early-alerts, mid-term and final grades by the required date.

Required Qualifications:

M.S. in biology or related life-sciences discipline with Ph.D. preferred. Experience in college-level teaching of biology with a focus in the following areas: human anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology, and medical terminology. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team focused and student centered environment is essential. Ability to use technology that includes MS Office programs, LMS platforms, and internet delivered materials is required. Enthusiasm for teaching and continuous professional development is highly valued.
