Targeted Hiring Salary: $37,265/annual -- $50,308/annual
Position Summary:

Full-time, 180-day contract position with direct responsibility to prepare and deliver high quality, day, evening, weekend, satellite, and/or online courses in the Computer Science and Information Systems department. Traditional and online course development and facilitation; academic advising; research and development of potential certificate and program offerings; participation in student learning and outcome assessment, engaging students to foster academic success; participation on college committees; participation in college, division, and department meetings and events; mentor faculty; professional development opportunities; marketing of programs; articulation with other colleges; support quality improvements in department, division, and college; and other duties assigned by the department.
This position is key to the implementation and advancement of emerging technologies in computer technologies and computer related areas. This individual will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of these courses, as well as supporting other IT programs including those that are targeted to be developed for online delivery. This position is critical to the IT Division, to ensure the quality of Information Technology programs and the introduction and integration of cutting edge research.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in computer science or computer-related field required. MBA or Masters in computer-related field preferred.

Experience/Qualifications Requirements:

Three years experience with associated industry experience is required. Experience in at least four of the following areas: Project Management, Computer Support, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, ASP or C#.

Experience in college level teaching of computer-related technologies preferred.

Licensure or Certification Requirements:

Current computer-related and/or database related certifications is a plus.

Preferred Qualification:

MBA or Masters in computer-related field preferred.
