Position Information

Position Title: Adjunct, Anatomy and Physiology
Position Summary:

Prepare and deliver day, evening, and weekend courses in Anatomy and Physiology; pursue professional development; participate in college activities that support the mission of the college. Additional responsibilities include assessing student performance, including electronic submission of early alerts and final grades by the required date.

Full-Time / Part-Time: Part-Time
Work Hours: For Day, Evening, Weekend Classes
Education Requirements:

Master’s degree in Biology, or a directly related field is required.

Experience/Qualifications Requirements:

College level teaching experience of biology, with a focus on introductory level and advanced cadaver based anatomy and physiology and other health related biology courses. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team focused and student centered environment is essential. Ability to use technology that includes MS Office programs and Internet delivered materials is required. We are looking for individuals we are able to teach at our satellite locations: downtown Canton, Akron, Alliance and Barberton. Enthusiasm for teaching and continuous professional development is highly valued.
