Position Information

Position Title: Student Worker - Federal Work Study & Non-Federal Work Study
Pay Rate: $8.15 per hour
Position Summary:

This position assists the Office of Career Development with providing support to students, alumni, faculty and employers. Responsibilities include general office tasks of typing, filing, answering phones, data entry, greeting visitors, creating documents using Microsoft Word and Excel, conducting telephone surveys, assembling presentation packets, etc.

Experience/Qualifications Requirements:

A high degree of professionalism is required for this very visible position. Must be detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. A high level of confidentiality is required. Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills a must. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word (mail merge, letter generation, etc.), Excel, and Access. Must be a Stark State Student enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm
